Our President Damien Walker has been nominated as a 2019 Finalist for the Westfield Local Heroes – Tea Tree Plaza. He has made the Top 6 and now it has gone to the public vote to decide the Top 3 Heroes, who will then receive $10,000 towards the organisation they represent. Salisbury City Rotaract Club Inc. held our Annual General Meeting to elect the Board Members for 2019/20, “Rotary – Connects The World”.
WE ARE SEEKING A LOGO FOR THIS PROJECT… Our hope is to have something that illustrates an intersectional community and showcases diversity. Something bold that will stand out to our demographic.
We want this project to be by locals, for locals, and showcasing local creativity.
At meeting #115, we heard from the wonderful Emily Kate Harman about her story and journey thus far living with a disability. We also decided to push forward with a new project idea as a result of Emily’s Presentation.
