Hi members and friends, I need your support to raise much-needed funds for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance through Salisbury City Rotaract’s STEPtember Campaign.
Cerebral palsy (CP) is an umbrella term that refers to a group of disorders affecting a person’s ability to move. It is a permanent, life-long condition but generally does not worsen over time and is due to damage to the developing brain either during pregnancy or shortly after birth. CP affects people in different ways and can affect body movement, muscle control, muscle coordination, muscle tone, reflex, posture and balance. STEPtember supports the work of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance. Their priority is to help babies, children, teenagers and adults living with CP lead the most comfortable, independent and inclusive life possible. The therapy teams at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, work with individuals and families to maximise the participation of these young people in the community.
We have got our team together for STEPtember 2019 and are/have been taking on the challenge to walk the equivalent of 10,000 steps every day for STEPtember. Kids with cerebral palsy are counting on us (WITH YOUR SUPPORT) to raise much-needed funds for equipment, therapy and research.
Please take 2 minutes to donate. As little as 10 dollars (the cost of 2 coffees) goes along to support the work of this wonderful cause. OUR AIM IS $1000 THIS NEXT MONTH!
